Secretary - Class B - Assistant Principal Office
Full Time 230 days/8 hours/day
Duties: Provide clerical support for Principal and Assistant Principals, Media Center, student files, records requests, and clerical projects. Detention coordination. Testing coordination. Mail referral letters; distribute US/District Mail to boxes; assist in reporting locker problems; mailings (stuffing, labeling, etc.); official notice display case coordination. Backup duties for front door security, Guidance Office, Student Attendance, and receptionist/phones. Perform other general clerical duties and support as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; ability/desire to use computer for word processing, record keeping and information retrieval; good oral and written communication and organizational skills; accuracy and attention to detail; flexibility; ability / desire to work cooperatively with department, district staff and public; ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with Synergy preferred.
Rate of pay: $21.00/hr. Insurance benefits available for assigned positions of 6 hours or more per day and 194 days per year.
