What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marching Band - Colorguard Tech position at Anoka-Hennepin School District?
As a staff member of the Coon Rapids Marching Band, the Colorguard Tech will be working with the students in the colorguard alongside our other Colorguard Tech. There are a few rehearsals in late May - early June with a focus on parade marching. In mid July, rehearsals begin for our Fall competition show. Band camp is from August 10th - 14th, 8-5 PM every day. There are many other rehearsals during this month, usually in the evening. After Labor Day, there are rehearsals on Monday and Thursday evenings, in addition to performance days on Fridays and Saturdays.
Staff members are expected to attend rehearsals during the summer and fall. Staff members are expected to attend all Saturday competition events in September and October.
