Full-Time 12 months/8 hrs/day
Location: ESC - Distribution Center/Warehouse
Specific duties for this Building Supervisor position include: Responsible for all aspects of distribution-warehousing functions including operations, logistics, and equipment/facilities maintenance. Supervise the duties and performance of warehouse staff. Coordinate with district departments and sites for the receiving, delivery, and transfer of supplies, equipment, and materials. Maintain the addition, deletion, and review of the District's fixed assets. This is a hands-on supervisory role, actively involved in daily operations while leading warehouse staff. Responsibilities include, centralized receiving, logistics coordination, equipment and facility maintenance, asset management, and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of supplies and equipment across the district. Operate trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as needed to support operations. Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of the distribution center, vehicles, and equipment. Assist in hiring decisions, staff development, and corrective discipline processes. Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the Director of Purchasing. May require working some nights and weekends.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Requires a current MN Class D driver's license. Ability to drive with excellent driving record. Ability to operate a 26,000 lb. capacity 20 foot straight truck; operational knowledge of lift gates. Ability to operate a forklift. Pass Federal required drug test. Ability to operate all distribution center/warehouse equipment. Ability to direct, supervise, train, and evaluate distribution center/warehouse staff. Ability to recommend hiring and to participate in corrective discipline and adjustment of grievances. Ability to communicate and work effectively with department administrators, principals, building supervisors, and district staff. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building/on site.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiar with Federal, State, and local rules and regulations regarding distribution and warehouse operations preferred.
Salary: $93,986, plus benefits.
Start Date: January 2026.
