Position: This 1st shift position with hours Monday - Friday 1:30PM - 10:00PM
- Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with eligibility to receive a pay increase after 90 days with positive performance and attendance.
- Plus, 2nd shift $1/hr. premium for all worked hours (PTO and holiday pay will be paid without the premium.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safely operating the machines, as part of the production process to assemble shoe inserts
- Work with a team to ensure that all products are ground to the highest quality standards.
- Responsible for set up, operation, and oversight of the needed equipment during production.
- Observe and monitor machine operations while running to detect and identify defects to determine if adjustments are necessary.
- Perform all quality checks to ensure proper utilization to minimize waste and rework.
- Perform preventative and mechanical maintenance, adjustments, repairs, and cleaning as needed.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in production/machine operation/grinding preferred
- Must be detail oriented
- Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude & troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to work in an environment that may be seasonably warm or cool and dusty
- Ability to read and interpret instructions in English; ability to verbally communicate in English
- Must be reliable
- Must be able to work both on a team and independently
