Anticipated Elementary Emotional Support/Learning Support Teacher
Position Type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Annville Elementary School
Annville-Cleona School District is seeking a compassionate, student-focused Emotional Support Teacher to join our special education team at Annville Elementary School for the start of the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth in a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification (PreK–12) required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Experience with behavioral supports and developing positive behavior support plans is preferred
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing specially designed instruction and support to students receiving emotional services
- Developing, implementing, and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned caseload students
- Collaborating with general education teachers, a special education consultant, a behavioral analyst, related service providers, and families to promote student success
- Implementing proactive, positive behavior support strategies in individual and small-group settings
