The Annville-Cleona School District is currently accepting applications for an Elementary School Social Worker. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Director of Student Services, elementary building administration, counselors, teachers, and staff to support students in enhancing their social and emotional well-being.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work is required
- Previous Experience in Human Resources or the School Social Work field preferred (at least 2 years) Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Job Overview:
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to address and overcome obstacles affecting students' educational experience
- Develop and implement interventions to improve student attendance
- Conduct assessments and provide crisis intervention as necessary
- SAP Liaison for the elementary division
- Facilitate communication between home and school to support student success
- Assist families with accessing community services Promote a positive and inclusive school environment
