Annunciation Orthodox School (AOS) seeks a passionate and knowledgeable Part-Time Assistant Softball Coach. Reports to: Director of Physical Education and Athletics
Status: Part-time/Stipend
Start Date-End Date: February 2, 2026-April 24, 2026
Work Schedule: 2:30-5:00 PM Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Provide athletic guidance and training to the AOS Softball Program in the skill development and personal growth of the student-athletes on the teams
- Attend afternoon practices 2:30-5:00 PM Monday-Friday
- Attend all after school games
- Assure student-athletes are properly supervised at all times
- Work closely with other AOS head softball coach
- Be able to move and set up practice and game equipment
- Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for students and staff
- Ride the bus to practices and games
- Provide parents appropriate feedback and information as needed for their students to have a successful experience
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
- Past experience in playing and/or coaching in the sport
- Knowledge of physical conditioning and skill development methods specific to the sport
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift equipment and demonstrate necessary skills to athletes
