Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow established recipes and menu plans while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary needs
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production appliances
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with meal prep, food handling, and portion control to support smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold high standards of food presentation
- Support dietary department requirements by adhering to dietary guidelines and special meal preparations when necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary aide roles or food service positions; fine dining or restaurant experience is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques including poaching, braising, grilling, and general cooking skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
