Stock Associate/Part-time

Job description

Principal Mission

The main mission of the stock room person is the organization, optimization and following of the stacking space in the stock room and on the floor. It is his responsibility.

Principal Responsibilities

The stock associate can occasionally help for the selling and cashing, mostly when the store is understaffed, when there is a crowd.

Naturally all the above followings points have to be discussed and approved with the store management.

Stock management

• Review the / Daily weekly performances / and ensure all stock which has been sold is displayed downstairs
• Review the best sellers weekly and make sure they are displayed in the store
• Make sure the models displayed in windows, rails and bust have got depth of stock in it (size 38 or 40 displayed on rail only).

To help the store management team to organize the floor by analyzing the performance according to each zone / product, to insure the best profitability per meter, (Money Mapping)

• Organizes and optimizes the stocking space in the stock room and on the floor : maintenance and restocking
• Makes sure the stock room is clean
• Accept and treats the packages, immediately tells his superiors if there is something wrong.
• Regularly keeps the manager and headquarters informed on the stock (example: out of stock, worsts and bests, additional stocking opportunity…)
• Preparation and following of the global inventories
• Action plan unknown mark down in collaboration with the manager and the team
• Treats daily the negative stocks and identifies the reason for it to give a feedback to the team
• Takes care of the transfers/DEF/stock adjustment/uniforms/end of season returns
• Gives the sizes in the stock room to the team on the floor during the day.
• Maintains the tags standards: readable bar code/visible/prices

· Maintains folding/cellos/floor ironing standards

Formation

· Completes and follows the integration plan.

· Knows all the internal procedures

Brand Image

· Guarantor of the Anne Fontaine’s image through their appearance

· Has an outfit which allows her to go back and forth on the floor : black pants and shirts, take dress shoes

Merchandising

· Make sure the store respects the visual identity and the presentation standards in collaboration with the manager/the visual merchandiser and the team

· Makes sure with the team that the visual standards (products, displays, respect of the recommendations, prices) are respected before the opening of the store

· Organizes in collaboration with the team the commercial operations and treats the tags according to them

· Helps with the cleaning and organization of the store

· Regularly does continuous inventories (with the team), looks for disparities, updates the stocks and gives feedback to the manager and the team.

· Prevent theft and lost : informs, follows

· Follow-up of the store supplies/ orders to the headquarters and cash register’s restocking

· Doing the other tasks set by the store manager

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Experience:

• Inventory control: 2 years (Required)
