Location: Jamestown, ND
Shift: Flexible Schedules
Job Schedule: Part Time
Weekly Hours: 16-20
JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to provide a clean and adequate supply of linens for the various departments at the Anne Carlsen Center. In addition, the position is responsible to gather, launder, sort, fold, organize, and return the students personal clothing items. This position reports to the Environmental Services Manager. Establish infection control and universal precautions practices are maintained when performing laundry procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS: (minimum requirements)
Education and/or years’ experience required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- North Dakota Driver’s License
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Prior experience in a laundry setting
- Ability to manage laundry equipment, including safety practices
- Familiarity with handling chemicals
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
