As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good.  We need a data expert like you to bring your expertise to understand and protect data across the DoD enterprise.As a client-facing data analyst on our Defense Technology team, you’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you’ll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on data security in the cloud.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enforce standardized data schemas and metadata tagging across subsystems in alignment with client standardsConduct compliance audits and address schema configuration driftUpdate metadata standards as required to ensure sustained interoperabilityPrevent data stove piping through proactive monitoring and remediationMaintain data quality standards ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency using existing baseline capabilitiesOperate automated validation and error-detection mechanisms within established infrastructureSustain comprehensive test operations including unit, integration, regression, and performance testing leveraging existing baseline systemsMonitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIsMaintain data governance framework aligned with DoD policies using existing baseline infrastructureOperate centralized data catalog within established capabilitiesSustain searchable access to dataset definitions and quality metrics leveraging existing baseline systemsMaintain modular, API-driven governance services using established architectureMaintain data governance processes ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across DoD systems using existing baseline capabilitiesSustain metadata standards and data dictionaries within established infrastructureMaintain data quality controls leveraging existing baseline systemsOperate automated reconciliation processes using established capabilitiesWork with us to drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights.Join us.
