Temp: Summer Camp Assistant Coach

This position is designed for potential temporary employees who have been recruited to work in a summer sports camp. Please DO NOT apply for this position unless a member of the athletics program has prescreened and invited you to apply.

Job Summary

Assists the Sumer Camp Coach in implementing, facilitating, and coaching the camp.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Assists with implementing the camp plan.
• Assists with facilitating/coaching campers.
• Assists with leading drills / sessions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the same classification or lower.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate required; or
• Other: registered and attending high school required.
  
  

Experience

• Athletic experience as an athlete and or coach required.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Other Characteristics

• Ability to teach sport-specific skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with diverse populations.
• Demonstrated proficiency with business technology applications (e.g. Video/Web Conferencing, Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint preferred).
