A luxury architecture and design magazine based in Annapolis, Maryland, seeks a highly creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Digital Producer to shape and elevate its digital presence. This independent contractor will translate the publication’s refined editorial vision and design-forward perspective into compelling, visually sophisticated content across social and digital platforms. The ideal candidate brings a discerning eye, a strong sense of visual storytelling, and the ability to express a luxury aesthetic with clarity and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, create, and produce elevated digital content, including static posts, reels, and short-form video, with a strong emphasis on visual sophistication and narrative cohesion
• Maintain and thoughtfully evolve a cohesive visual identity that reflects the magazine’s architecture and design-focused, luxury positioning
• Craft clear, concise, and polished copy that aligns with an editorial, design-literate voice
• Collaborate closely with editorial and creative teams to ensure alignment with feature stories, design coverage, and brand initiatives
• Design and format content using Adobe InDesign and related creative tools, ensuring consistency in typography, layout, and overall presentation
• Remain attuned to developments in architecture, interior design, luxury media, and digital storytelling, while upholding a timeless and discerning sensibility
• Manage content calendars with precision, ensuring timely delivery and consistency across all platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Art, Design, or a related field)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience producing social and digital content
• Strong background in visual arts, design, architecture, or a closely related discipline
• High proficiency in Adobe InDesign; familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
• Demonstrated experience producing content for social platforms, within luxury, design, or editorial environments
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a refined, editorial tone
• Highly developed visual sensibility, with a keen eye for composition, typography, and storytelling
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects with discretion, organization, and attention to detail

Additional Requirements

• Must be available to meet in-office in Annapolis, MD on a weekly basis
• Ability to work as an independent contractor with a flexible yet accountable schedule
