- Take dogs on engaging walks tailored to their size, breed, and energy level, ensuring proper exercise and mental stimulation
- Handle animal restraint safely during walks or care routines to ensure pet and handler safety
- Monitor pet behavior closely to identify signs of distress or health issues, communicating concerns to owners promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of pet areas and ensure all equipment used during walks or care is sanitized and well-maintained
- Assist with basic training exercises such as leash manners or commands to promote good behavior
