What are the responsibilities and job description for the Eagles Explorations Summer Camp Counselor position at Annapolis Area Christian School?
Annapolis Area Christian School Summer Programs exist to serve our community through a summer full of faith and fun. We are seeking fun, outgoing individuals to add to our team for the summer. Camp counselors have the opportunity to improve the camp experience and help campers create memorable experiences.
Responsibilities include:

Supervision and participation in camp activities such as outdoor games, arts & crafts, and swimming.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
Fostering a positive and inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and teamwork.
Creating activities for campers during free periods.
Leading campers by being a positive role model reflecting the values of AACS
Participating in staff meetings and assisting in the maintenance of camp equipment and facilities.
Qualifications:

Must be 18 years old, or a high school graduate with experience working with kids.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Enthusiastic about working in a Christian Environment with Children
- Must profess faith in Jesus Christ and be actively involved in a local church.
Required training on Friday, June 5th, 5:30-8PM and Saturday, June 6th, 9:00am - 4:00 pm.
Camp dates are Monday-Friday, June 15th through August 7th.
