Human Resource Assistant
Annandale Millwork and Allied Systems Corporation are accepting applications for a Human Resources Assistant. This is a full time benefited position located in Winchester, Virginia.
Essential Functions:
· Assist the Human Resource Director and Manager in almost all aspects of maintaining Hourly employee’s files
· Assist with the hiring process
· Assist with recruiting and onboarding
· Develop understanding of company safety policies and practices and help implement employee training procedures
· Knowledgeable about company benefits, policies and procedures
· Responsible for maintaining, filing and archiving of HR documents
· Assist with input and maintenance of ADP records
· Maintain subcontractor’s information records and updates
· Safeguard confidentiality by exercising discretion in communicating information and in handling administrative records, files, and similar confidential items
Required Skills:
· Ability to work positively and effectively with management and employees
· Excellent communication skills both oral and written
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
· An understanding of the business policies, procedures, and mission
· Technology competence with proficiency in ADP,Word, Excel, PowerPoint and to quickly learn new technologies
· Motivation, high energy and creative problem-solving skills
A Bachelor’s Degree and one or more years of HR experience preferred
