- $1.50 (1st shift, 7am-3:30pm)
- $1.25 (2nd shift, 3pm-11:30pm)
- $2.00 (3rd shift, 11pm-7:30am)
- $1.50 (Weekend, Sat & Sun)

Position Purpose | Performs non-professional direct care duties following the care plan under the direction and supervision of the Administrator / Health Services Administrator. Assists with providing skills training to maintain abilities of Villagers including, but not limited to, maintaining a safe and clean room, laundry skills, personal hygiene, and interpersonal relationships with their housemates. Maintains a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for the Villagers at the Assisted Living Center at Annandale. Demonstrated organizational and communication skills are essential. The ability to multitask and cope with stress in difficult situations is necessary. |
Required Qualifications
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet all applicable federal and Georgia state certification requirements.
Must obtain CMA within 90 days of hire date.
Speak and understand English and able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
Must have a High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED).
To operate Annandale Vehicles/Golf Carts, employee must have a valid Class C Georgia Driver’s License with 3 years driving experience, proof of vehicle insurance, and meet company policy regarding MVR requirements.
Must meet state requirements regarding a GBI and FBI criminal history record check which requires fingerprinting.
Must undergo and pass a drug screening and screening for Tuberculosis.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Assists Villagers with activities of daily living care. Provides non-professional direct care including perineal care, catheter care, and assistance w/ bed mobility, positioning in / out of wheelchairs / chairs, bed, showers, bathtubs, etc.
Assists Villagers with preparation for medical tests and / or exams.
May transport Villagers to scheduled off grounds appointments as assigned.
Will assist in group and one to one activities program for Villagers as assigned.
Completes clinical and behavioral documentation accurately and timely.
Reports changes in Villager’s condition and completes incident reports accurately and timely.
Completes internal documentation / requests for any repairs needed to equipment, furnishings / buildings / vehicles as appropriate.
Understands and uses Universal Precautions and follows established infection control, hazardous communication, and other safety rules. Ensures cleanliness of assigned Villagers’ rooms; and promptly reports all violations of safety and sanitation rules to the Administrator. Assists Villagers with laundry including washing, drying, and ironing.
Informs the Administrator of needs in assigned areas.
Participates in the Quality Assurance initiatives of the community.
Demonstrates knowledge of and competency in protecting the rights, dignity and individuality of Villagers and others.
Complies with all Annandale policies, procedures, and dress code; is punctual and reliable in performance of his/her duties.
Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment and / or Villager.
Participates in mandatory in-service trainings, staff meetings and educational activities..
Continues to work on maintaining and improving job related skill sets and departmental services through continuing education opportunities, as available.
Performs other duties within scope of his/her training and abilities as needed or as assigned and informs the Administrator when he/she does not have the skill sets to do needed or assigned tasks so additional assistance can be obtained.
Meets all state licensing and contract requirements and abides by Annandale policies and procedures.
Attends all required and assigned trainings and meetings.
Performs other duties that may be necessary in the best interest of Annandale at Suwanee, Inc. to meet the personal service and care needs of the facility residents.
