Job Summary
Retail Furniture Sales Associate. Part Time and full time openings. Assist clients in choosing the perfect furniture pieces to enhance their home using your strong communication skills to thoroughly explaine all the features, materials and benefits of our specific furniture lines. We strive to provide top quality customer service through a pleasant client experience, thus creating a long-term relationship resulting in repeat sales, with clients referring us to their family and friends.
Responsibilities
- Welcome ALL clients with respect
- Become familiar with all aspects of our furniture lines in order to communicate product feature, materials, and benefits clearly with confidence
- Assist clients in selecting the furniture pieces that match their style, space, and budget
- Suggest additional products, accessories, or warranties to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Become proficient with POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain accurate payment, proccessing, cash handling, transactions, and receipts
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions professionally via phone or in person while adhering to proper phone etiquette
- Work as a team with other sales associates to ensure efficient operations and meet sales targets
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years retail furniture sales experience preferred
- Management and supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
Pay: $21.72 - $26.16 per hour
