You must have own transportation as it is early hours. This is a non smoking environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new breakfast dishes or improvements to existing offerings
- Manage food prep stations efficiently, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Serve breakfast dishes promptly and courteously to guests or dining staff
- Support catering or special event breakfast setups when needed, ensuring timely service and presentation
Experience
Candidates should possess prior experience in food preparation or kitchen roles within the food industry, especially in breakfast or fine dining settings. Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is advantageous. A strong background in food safety practices, culinary techniques, and food handling is essential. Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations will set you apart. Proficiency with knife skills, food service procedures, and restaurant experience will help you excel in this role. Candidates with culinary experience in the food industry, including kitchen experience in fast-paced environments or catering services, are highly encouraged to apply.
