Position Summary
Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) assists residents in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Provide occupational therapy treatments per established plans of care
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Document treatments, progress, and resident responses accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote safety, dignity, and individualized resident care

Qualifications:
Qualifications for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Current Ohio Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
