Concept,Trend, Print & Pattern Intern - Ann Taylor
This internship supports both the Concept & Trend teams and the CAD, Print & Color teams, offering hands-on exposure to the creative development process from inspiration through execution. The intern will assist with research, visual development, and design support across multiple disciplines.
Internship Details
The KnitWell Group Summer Internship Program welcomes the classes of 2026 and 2027 college students to work with several of our brands (Ann Taylor, Haven Well Within, LOFT, Talbots) and Corporate Shared Services to kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to work hands-on with their department for 10-weeks and receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops, store visits, etc., and participation in a collaborative team project.
The pay rate for the position is $20.00/hr.
This internship position will be based out of our Ann Taylor office location in New York, NY.
KnitWell Group does not offer housing near any of our corporate office locations. Participating students must have the ability to independently secure and finance housing in a commutable distance of the office location.

- Support concept and trend research through market analysis, inspiration boards, presentation materials, and archival research to inform seasonal direction and storytelling
- Assist CAD, Print, and Color teams with artwork organization, color updates, and basic CAD or print adjustments
- Help maintain design assets, samples, and files while collaborating with cross‑functional creative partners
- Curiosity & eagerness to learn
- Enrolled in an accredited degree program
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong eye for trend
