Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the multiple companies day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of QuickBooks and a solid understanding of debits and credits, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping functions
· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
· Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
· Record and post journal entries
· Process payroll and payroll-related reports
· Prepare monthly financial statements
· Maintain the general ledger
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
· Ensure accuracy of all accounting transactions
Requirements
· Minimum 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
· Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)
· Strong understanding of accounting principles, debits, and credits
· Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in small business accounting
· Experience with payroll processing
