What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embroidery Team Member position at Ann Arbor T-shirt Company?
We are seeking a team player to join our Embroidery department to assist with finishing garments! In this role, you will work to quality check, trim and clean, and package custom and retail embroidery orders. No experience needed - as long as you have a meticulous eye for detail, ability to pick up new processes quickly, positive attitude, and willingness to learn, we'll teach you what you need to know!
Here’s what you can expect on a daily basis:
- Quality check and trim threads from decorated garments.
- Properly fill out data tracking for all orders embroidered.
- Package completed orders and deliver to customer pick-up shelves or shipping as needed.
- Proactively looking for new ways to contribute, and solve problems.
Candidate must possess:
- Color vision and depth perception
- Manual dexterity
- The ability and desire to follow directions and learn new systems and processes quickly
- Attention to detail
- Sense of urgency
- Motivation for continuous improvement
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team

- Previous embroidery experience preferred but not required

The Ann Arbor T-shirt Company is an apparel decorator and Amazon seller out of Ann Arbor, MI. Our goal is to provide our clients with an easy and enjoyable way to celebrate their identity and interests by leveraging first-rate technology, systems, and service. We do this in two ways. One is by sourcing, decorating, and selling private label apparel on Amazon Marketplaces worldwide. The other is by providing custom apparel and accessory solutions to our community in both the B2B and B2C space.

Availability:
This position is full-time, Monday through Friday day shift. Some weekends will be required in Quarter 4 (October-December).
Note this is a seasonal role, running through December. There may be opportunity to continue on permanently for the right candidate, dependent on work neeed and individual performance.
