What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endodontist position at Ann Arbor Smiles?
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Status: Part-Time, with growth potential
The Mission
For more than 40 years, we’ve been a trusted part of the Ann Arbor community. We are not a corporate chain; we are a dentist-owned, patient-first practice built on clinical excellence, thoughtful relationships, and a standard of care that puts people before production.
We’ve built the foundation. We have the patients, the reputation, and the modern technology. Now, we are looking for an Endodontist who wants to do more than step into a schedule, we are looking for a specialist who wants to help shape something exceptional.
The Opportunity
Immediate Demand: Join a practice with an established patient base and a built-in referral network ready to support your schedule.
Clinical Autonomy: Deliver high-quality endodontic care, including root canal therapy, retreatment, and management of complex pulpal and periapical conditions, with a patient-first approach.
Meaningful Growth: This is not simply a coverage role. It is an opportunity to help build a specialty service with long-term value for both patients and the practice.
Who You Are
The Clinician: You hold a DMD/DDS and have completed an accredited Endodontics residency.
The Communicator: You bring precision and calm to every patient interaction, making complex treatment feel clear, manageable, and reassuring.
The Builder: An interest in helping build a robust specialty program in a practice that is positioned for expansion.
Why Ann Arbor Smiles?
Autonomy & Balance: A flexible part-time schedule designed to respect your existing commitments while offering a steady and diverse caseload.
Elevated Environment: Work in a modern, high-tech setting with the feel of a private practice that values quality, not volume.
Local Roots, Lasting Vision: Join a team with deep community roots and a forward-looking approach to specialty care.
