Responsibilities:
You will embark on a comprehensive training program to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a key member of our care coordination team. Candidates must be willing to work on site at various locations in Ann Arbor. Some evenings and weekends may be required. Your responsibilities will include:
Front Office Management:
Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle phone inquiries.
Ensure a seamless patient experience by coordinating with the clinical team.
New Patient Coordination
Serve as a primary point of contact for new patients, helping create a welcoming and positive first impression.
Coordinate new patient scheduling and assist patients with completing necessary intake information.
Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Follow up with prospective and new patients to support continuity of care and build strong relationships.
Billing and Financial Administration:
Collaborate with the billing team to ensure accurate verification of benefits and collections.
Address patient inquiries related to billing and financial matters.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field preferred, but not required. Transferable skills will be an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is a plus.
