- High school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of office experience.
- Experience using PC and/or MAC computers for word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
- Advanced computer skills, such as creating spreadsheets and forms.
- Experience using New World and PowerSchool.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and the public.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Assist in enrolling students.
- Collect and record daily attendance in PowerSchool.
- Notify families and students at risk of being dropped from summer school.
- Counsel students having difficulty with attendance.
- Work with the principal's secretary to assemble and mail progress reports, mid-term and final grade reports.
- Communicate with teachers about students with attendance problems.
- Assist summer school principal with behavior referrals and suspension forms.
- Assist Summer School Secretary as needed.
- Other related duties as assigned
- Read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively and present information both in oral and in written form.
- Add, subtract, and multiply and divide in all units of measure.
- Interact with the public and other staff as required.
- Apply knowledge of current replicated research and techniques related to sensory issues.
