- Possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a BA endorsement
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students who have academic difficulties desired
- Teach District approved curriculum.
- Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and the times designated.
- Co-teaching as assigned.
- Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
- Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
- Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and in harmony with the goals establishing clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects and the like to communicate these objectives to students.
- Diagnose the learning disabilities of students.

Add, subtract, and multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
