Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for eye examinations by taking detailed medical histories and explaining procedures clearly
- Conduct preliminary tests including intraocular pressure measurements, refraction assessments, visual field screenings, OptoMap retinal photography, and OCT
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic medical records (OfficeMate ExamWriter)
- Support clinic operations by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow efficiently
- Ensure all diagnostic tools and exam rooms are sanitized, calibrated, and ready for daily use to uphold safety standards
