Position Summary
The A3 Associate serves our customers by helping them select and purchase products and accessories. The A3A upholds and promotes the company's high standard of excellence in customer service to ensure positive customer experiences. The A3A drives sales by promoting a welcoming atmosphere, engagement of customers, suggestive selling and sharing product knowledge. This position is also responsible for assisting customers when checking into the Range by assisting with choices in firearm rentals and accessories and processing payment for products and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Supporting and carrying out the company's core values as part of the daily work environment
Promote and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, customers and members
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current membership plans and promotions to maximize membership sales
Maintain thorough and current knowledge of company's products and accessories
Assist customers with product and accessory selections
Assist customers through the process of firearms sales and paperwork
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's financing options
Process register transactions through Axis, the company's point-of-sale system
Maintain sanitary, clean and neat retail areas
Perform opening and closing tasks as assigned by Retail Manager
Assist customers with product selections and range instructions
Ensure customers demonstrate ability to safely operate and clear firearm rentals
Develop and maintain complete knowledge of all range safety rules and procedures
Enforce all rules and protocol and notify Range Manager of any violations
Maintain awareness of activity in shooting bays/lanes on range counter monitors
Maintain thorough understanding of the range's emergency response plans
Maintain sanitary, clean and neat range areas and bays

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Must be 21 years or older
Must pass a background check and drug test
Outstanding listening, interpersonal and speaking skills
Naturally friendly, courteous, outgoing personality
Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills and ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers and interactions
Demonstrated professional demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and be able to successfully transition from one customer to the next
Must have strong attention to detail skills and ability to maintain confidential information
Good computer and software skills including MS Office applications.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
