Leasing Consultant

We are actively seeking a full time Leasing Consultant to become part of our team. Ann Arbor Apartments owns and operates 14 properties in Ann Arbor Michigan. Qualified candidates will demonstrate an aptitude for sales, and possess a strong customer service ethic, exemplary communication skills, and a love helping others in a fun environment!

• Assist with leasing and maintenance requests; includes the mailing of renewal offers, tracking of responses and management of property availability
• Tour prospective residents through available apartment options within our properties.
• Assist with ensuring an accurate record of availability that is compatible with the lease renewal report
• Approve, enter and present all rental applications
• Assist with the move-out process to ensure compliance with final account statement requirements; includes accepting keys for departing residents
• Ensure that leases and resident check-ins are accurate and efficient
• Investigate and respond to concerns/complaints from residents in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and fostering good public relations; includes reporting to the Property Manager
• Assist in the preparation of weekly reports related to the property’s performance as required
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees and vendors
• Answer telephones and respond quickly to emails.
• General administrative duties such as filing and typing and reporting

Candidates must have a valid drivers license and be willing to work weekends when needed. 1 full year of rental leasing with Rent Manager experience is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
