SUMMARY
Responsible for performing MRI procedures on patients of every age utilizing approved techniques and producing quality scans for physician interpretation.
Specific Duties May Include...
- Reviews medical record for patient history and clinical data for correlation with MRI
- Provides Services Excellence by using the “AIDET” Technique: Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You. Positions patients, explains procedure, and provides patient education
- Performs MRI procedures on patients of every age utilizing approved protocol. Displays knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology, and/or physiological data to obtain optimal studies
- Operates MRI equipment and monitors function of equipment. Recognizes malfunctions and needs for servicing. Takes appropriate steps to report those needs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current SCRQSA license, ARRT certification required.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program required.
