Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Coordinator — InPatient Coding will assist the Inpatient Coding Manager as needed with coding questions from other teammates, assigning work queues, and more.
- Assist in working the coding manager review queue.
- Keeps a check on the waiting for information queue.
- Assist in working the unrelated accounts queue.
- Assist other coders when needed.
- Come on-site as needed for coder assistance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Strong Background in Anatomy, Physiology and Medical Terminology
- RHIT, RHIA and/or CCS required
