SUMMARY OF POSITION PURPOSE
A Security dispatcher, also known as an emergency dispatcher, receives emergency and non-emergency calls from staff, patients and / or visitors quickly assesses the situation, determines the appropriate response based on location and emergency type, and relays critical information to the relevant Security Officer(s), all while maintaining composure in high-stress situations.
