Responsibilities
- Manage the day-today delivery of complex disputes engagements, including detailed analyses of project schedule delays, cost overruns, productivity, contracts, change orders, and other issues.
- Support and manage the production of comprehensive reports for review, and validation.
- Supervise, mentor, and manage project personnel to ensure technical accuracy and work product defensibility.
- Contribute to engagement planning, including the development of proposals, budgeting and budget tracking, and defining work tasks and deliverables.
- Develop and present complex technical findings.
- Develop and validate sophisticated computer models of schedules and costs using Primavera P6 and other software packages.
- Research and analyze project cost records and financial statements; reconcile claim amounts to accounting systems and to insurers' calculations.
Requirements
- 3 years of disputes/claims consulting experience in the construction and engineering industries is required, with a proven ability in technical documentation.
- Business-level fluency in both Spanish and English required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Advanced P6 scheduling and project controls expertise is essential.
- Proven experience in damages, contractual liability, and investigative work focused on complex contractual disputes, claims, and litigation.
- Experience managing client relationships and leading project teams in a consulting environment.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Professional certifications (PE, PMP, CCM, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Experience with international construction projects and deep familiarity with various contract forms (FIDIC, NEC, AIA, EJCDC) preferred.
