Our multidisciplinary team combines deep industry expertise with advanced analytical capabilities to provide independent professional opinions, delay and cost analysis, and practical risk mitigation strategies across some of the world's largest and most complex infrastructure, real estate, healthcare, energy, and financial services projects.
Role Overview
- Lead complex construction dispute resolution engagements and provide strategic advisory services to Fortune 500 clients, government agencies, and major capital project stakeholders
- Serve as primary client relationship manager and technical expert on high-profile construction disputes, claims, and litigation matters
Responsibilities
- Lead detailed analyses of project schedule delays, cost overruns, productivity, contracts, change orders and other issues related to design and construction
- Research and analyze project cost records and financial statements
- Reconcile claim amounts to accounting systems and to insurers' calculations
- Develop computer models of schedules, contractor production rates and costs using Primavera P6 and other software packages
- Oversee data gathering activities including document review, and supervision and quality control of data entry activities
- Supervise project personnel and their work product, including analysts, associates, client personnel, and clerical support
- Prepare comprehensive client communications and technical work product for senior-level review
- Lead engagement planning including proposals, budgeting and budget tracking, and work task development
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited institution; Advanced degree preferred
- 5-7 years of disputes/claims consulting experience in the construction and engineering industries with proven ability in report writing and technical documentation
- Strong experience with project controls/scheduling and proficiency with Primavera Project Planner - advanced P6 skills essential
- Proven experience in damages and investigative work focused on contractual disputes, claims, and litigation
- Proficient in MS Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access; Experience with MS Project beneficial
- Proficiency with Primavera Project Planner required - advanced P6 scheduling and project controls experience highly preferred
- Business-level fluency in both Spanish and English required
- Professional certifications (PE, PMP, CCM, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing client relationships and leading project teams
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 25%)
- Experience with international construction projects and familiarity with various contract forms (FIDIC, AIA, EJCDC) preferred
