Job Overview

Ankiewicz Enterprises Inc. is seeking dependable and motivated Laborers to support our Field Operations team on multiple civil and utility construction projects. This role is essential to the daily success of our job sites and includes a wide range of hands-on tasks such as site preparation, trenching, pipe work, and supporting skilled trades.

This position is ideal for individuals who are willing to learn, work hard, and commit to a company that is ready to train the right person for long-term growth. No two days are the same, and travel to different job sites is a required part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment

• Prepare and maintain construction sites, including cleanup and organization

• Assist with trenching, grading, and pipe installation while maintaining proper grade

• Support asphalt and concrete crews as needed

• Tend to basic machinery and heavy equipment under supervision

• Follow instructions from supervisors and help carry out construction plans

• Assist skilled tradespeople by completing assigned tasks efficiently

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site

• Travel to different project sites as assigned

• Perform other labor duties as required by project needs

Qualifications

• Construction or civil labor experience is preferred, but not required

• Willingness to learn and develop skills in civil and utility construction

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions

• Comfortable working in trenching, utility installation, and earthwork environments

• Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction equipment

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude

• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team

• No licenses, certifications, or formal education required — training is provided for individuals who are committed to long-term employment

Schedule

• This position is not based at a single permanent job site. Company headquarters are located in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, but employees will be assigned to various job sites depending on project needs.

• Regular travel to different work locations throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding areas is a required part of this role.

• Work locations will vary based on active projects and schedules.
