Ankeny Bottle and Can is hiring an Assistant Manager. Ankeny Bottle and Can is a new redemption center serving the Ankeny area with a focus on customer service, community, and cleanliness.
Job duties
The primary responsibility of this job is to assist the manager in running the store.
- Coordinate breaks for sorting staff
- Greeting customers and keeping track of orders
- Running the shop in the manager’s absence
- Manage vendor pickups
Candidate requirements
Candidates for this position must:
- Have experience handling cash
- Preferably experience managing employees
- Be able to stand and perform light physical activity for up to two hours at a time
- Comfortable working with empty beverage containers and other waste products
This is a 30 hour a week position. The hours will be 10am and 4pm Tuesday-Friday and 9:30am-2:30pm Saturday.
