The Position:
You must have experience cooking on a line and fulfilling tickets in a timely manner. High volume experience is appreciated. You also must be willing to interact with guests in our open kitchen concept and feel comfortable using a POS system.
The Counter Server's primary responsibility is to ensure guest satisfaction; this is accomplished by taking guests' orders, building their salads & bowls, cashing out their orders, and maintaining a well organized & clean working area.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Assisting guests with order entry; answering questions & offering suggestions when needed
- Prep & fulfillment of all FOH menu items (including bakery, grab-n-go & beverages)
- Facilitate/assemble salad & bowl menu items at our food counter area
- Cashing customers out at the end of the service counter
- Confirm online & mobile app prepaid orders with guests
- Answer phone orders and submit them into the POS
- Manage the restocking of all food displayed in cases, as well as the beverage counter
- Maintain general tidiness of dining areas
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrate the courteous and helpful attitude that exemplifies our team’s service goal
- Communicate important information effectively
- Possess strong organizational habits and a team-first mentality
- Quickly and effectively take & create orders in a fast-paced environment
- Complete assigned station training requirements under the direction of immediate supervisor(s)
- Fluency in the English language including reading, writing, speaking; basic math skills required
- Ability to frequently lift and transport up to 30 pounds (non-slip shoes required)
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
