Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
Global Strategy and Leadership
Develop and execute Animoca Brands’ corporate strategy to drive sustainable growth, innovation, and market leadership.
Lead market research, competitive analysis, and trend monitoring to inform strategic decisions.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the CEO, board, and executive team to guide investments, partnerships, and expansion initiatives.
Define strategic priorities and KPIs to ensure alignment between global vision and local execution.
Americas Expansion and Market Development
Drive Animoca Brands’ entry and growth across the Americas, including the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
Identify high-potential markets, partners, and business models for regional expansion.
Oversee business structuring, operational planning, and financial modeling to support local market entry.
Build relationships with industry stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies to enable compliant, scalable operations.
Serve as the company’s strategic representative in negotiations, alliances, and high-profile industry initiatives.
Mergers, Acquisitions, and Partnerships
Lead evaluation, execution, and integration of M&A opportunities aligned with corporate strategy.

Qualifications
20 years of senior leadership experience in corporate strategy, business development, or executive roles, with at least 7 years in a CSO or similar position.
Proven track record in gaming, digital assets, blockchain, or technology industries, ideally with experience in global market expansion.
Demonstrated ability to lead M&A, strategic partnerships, and international business development.
Deep understanding of digital ecosystems, blockchain technology, and the metaverse economy.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with board-level influence experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, strategy, or related fields required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
