What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animas Brewing Company Line Cooks position at Animas Brewing Company?
Animas Brewing Company is hiring Line Cooks! AM and PM available, 4 or 5 days. We are a small team serving fresh scratch pub food.
Our PM cook will work from 3 pm to close, (around 10 or 10:30), ideally 5 nights per week. Our AM cook will work from 9:30 to 3:30. Even during our slow season, these are reliable gigs with steady hours. We make a big effort to give our people steady schedules and consistent days off. We offer competitive hourly based on experience, and we have a very generous tip pool that pays cash tips per shift. It's one of the best paying cook jobs in town!
We run a one-person line, with a support cook when needed. So you will be in charge of picking up all the menu items, and will have a prep cook who can help grab things, and help cook during a rush. AM cooks are responsible for fryer filtering and station setup, and PM cooks are responsible for nightly cleaning and shut down. PM cooks have a dishwasher to close with, you'll both get out at the same time. We aspire to run a clean and organized kitchen with a minimum of confusion and fuss.
