Veterinary Assistant

Qualifications
- A current Veterinary Assistant Certificate in good standing is preferred
- Educational background in Veterinary Medicine or science is preferred
- At least 1-year of hands-on experience previously working as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Assistant Certificate
- The ability to perform a multitude of veterinary assistant tasks including animal handling, client communication, record keeping, handling and preparing laboratory samples including blood, urine, and feces, administering medications, assisting technicians, veterinarians, and other staff
- A learning mindset, interest in always growing
- Attention to detail, ability to focus on task at hand, and a high degree of organization
- A positive, friendly demeanor is a MUST!
- Honesty and reliability are required for this position
Hours & Availability
This is a full time opening! Your availability should align with our hours of operation as follows:
- Monday - Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- /- Saturday: 8:30am - 12:30pm rotating
- We are only open 1-2 Saturdays per month!
Compensation & Benefits
Our amazing team members can expect competitive pay! The starting range for this position is $18-$23 per hour, dependent upon education and/or experience.
