```Duties```
-work well with all team members and ensure that your actions support the hospital, the doctors, and the practice philosophy
- Provide compassionate care and assistance to animals in a veterinary setting
- Perform various veterinary procedures under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Assist with animal handling, restraint, and transportation
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and analyze results
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
-Take digital radiographs
-maintain knowledge of preventative healthcare recommendations in order to answer client questions, provide education on vaccines, flea/tick and heartworm products, and assist in marketing veterinary services from which their pet would benefit, such as dental cleaning, senior wellness, spay and neuter and boarding.
-clean exam rooms after use
-participate in daily cleaning of practice including vacuuming and mopping floors, removing trash and restocking supplies when needed

```Qualifications```
- Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
- Previous experience working as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of animal husbandry, care, and handling techniques
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with common veterinary equipment and tools
- Ability to perform animal catheterization and administer medications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with other veterinary professionals
