Responsibilities
- Provide daily animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health status across multiple species.
- Assist with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff.
- Administer medications and injections following veterinary instructions accurately and aseptically.
- Handle pet care duties including grooming, walking dogs, and managing pet behavior to promote comfort and trust.
- Maintain detailed records of animal treatments, medication schedules, and behavioral observations using veterinary terminology.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized environment adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Prior kennel experience or hands-on animal husbandry background preferred
- Experience with dog handling and animal restraint techniques essential for safe interactions.
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively within a team.
