Veterinary Technician Assistant / Kennel Worker
Greater Sacramento area (Folsom and/or El Dorado Hills), CA
Full-time (40 hrs/wk); shifts are for 4 10-hour days; shifts cover Monday through Saturday (depending on the location)
Target hiring range $17 to $19 per hour (depending on qualifications) plus exceptional total compensation package!

What you will be doing:
✓ Maintaining the general cleanliness and neatness of the hospital
✓ Preparing and cleaning Casco WellKennels
✓ Assisting Veterinary Assistants, RVTs, and other staff by carefully restraining patients for imaging, blood draws, and other procedures (knowledge of Fear Free a plus!) and assisting with general patient care.
✓ Taking patients to the outdoor canine relief station
✓ Stocking supplies, sanitizing instruments, processing laundry, monitoring, and stocking client refreshments
You are a great fit if you have:
✓ High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
✓ At least one (1) year of experience in animal/pet care (Required)
✓ A love for animals, patience, and the desire to be part of a team dedicated to pet wellness and delivering the highest quality patient care using play and affection.
✓ Attention to detail; a knack for being observant, responsive, and proactive.
✓ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, compassionately assist pet parents who are under duress, and create a positive environment for patients, pet parents, and staff.
✓ Emotional intelligence
✓ A track record of reliability
