Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian for a full-time or part-time located in Gardnerville, NV. The Veterinarian will oversee the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries in animals, conduct preventative care exams, and perform routine and advanced surgical procedures. This role will also involve consulting with pet owners, developing treatment plans, and overseeing a team of veterinary technicians to ensure optimal care for patients. Candidates will also play an active role in promoting wellness education for clients and maintaining detailed patient records.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Veterinary Medicine and proficiency in performing diagnostic exams and surgical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client consultations and teamwork
- Experience in providing preventative care and creating tailored treatment plans
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site clinical environment
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and valid state veterinary license
- Compassionate approach towards animals and their families
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and familiarity with veterinary technology is a plus
