About the Role – Outpatient Care Technician
This role is perfect for a technician who thrives in the exam room, providing top-notch patient care and exceptional client communication. If you enjoy wellness visits, care plans, and client education, we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in outpatient care, including wellness exams, sick visits, and follow-ups
- Provide client education on pet care, treatment plans, and preventative medicine
- Anticipate veterinarian needs during exams and procedures
- Perform technical skills including venipuncture, sample collection, and diagnostic testing
- Ensure smooth patient flow and efficient appointment management
- Communicate effectively with pet owners and the veterinary team
What We’re Looking For:
- A CVT (or eligible) in Mississippi
- Passion for client service, patient care, and education
- Ability to multi-task, anticipate needs, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to a positive, emotionally intelligent work culture
- Someone who enjoys the exam room and thrives in an outpatient setting
Schedule & Benefits:
- Schedule: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM with weekend rotations
