Even before opening the doors of the Animal Medical Center of Troy, MO in the spring of 2000, our goal was to practice the best possible veterinary medicine while fostering a friendly environment with a highly knowledgeable staff.
Today, we have more than achieved that goal. What began as a small practice with one veterinarian and only a few exam rooms has now been transformed into an 8,600 square foot facility with two full-time doctors offering everything from routine wellness care to state-of-the-art diagnostics, surgery, cancer care, and even laser therapy.
Position Purpose
Come extern with us!Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications
Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
Must be able to provide student PLIT
