The Financial Benefits of Working for a Non-Profit
- $130,000 minimum base salary, depending on experience
- Commission opportunity - our average annual total compensation is approximately $150,000
- Hiring bonus of up to $100,000

- Enjoy predictable, reasonable hours without the pressure or chaos often found in other practices.
- Perform high-quality exams, diagnostics, and treatments on client-owned animals
- Conduct surgical procedures including spay/neuter and soft-tissue surgeries on client-owned and shelter animals
- Provide compassionate, clear communication to pet owners and adopters
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with protocols and regulations
- Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff
- Work every other Saturday with a different day off during the week
Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary program
- Current Missouri veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic, medical and surgical skills
- Commitment to humane, ethical animal care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
