What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Imaging Fellowship position at Animal Imaging - Veterinary Radiology?
Animal Imaging offers an Imaging Fellowship/Internship program that gives doctors exposure to multiple modalities of diagnostic imaging including MRI, CT, nuclear scintigraphy, ultrasonography, and radiography. Opportunities for exposure in equine anesthesia, sports medicine, and lameness diagnosis are also available. The core objective of our Imaging Fellowship/Internship is to prepare the doctor for a radiology residency or other advanced training.
Imaging Fellowship Requirements: Open to licensed Doctors of Veterinary Medicine in good standing and are able to obtain a license in the state of Texas. Candidates should be preparing for residency programs in radiology or another advanced specialty. Candidates should have completed an internship prior to applying for the Imaging Fellowship position.
The doctors are offered hands-on experience with our patients and doctors during their appointments. They will develop skills in veterinary radiology such as image acquisition, interpretation, anesthesia, and much more.
