*Experienced* veterinary receptionist/assistant needed for busy two doctor practice. Experience using Pulse veterinary software a plus but not required. Must be friendly, outgoing and a team player with a knowledge of the veterinary field. Must be able to handle multiple phone lines and be willing to assists the doctors and technicians in the back and in exam rooms. Phlebotomy experience is a plus. Some Saturday’s and evenings are a must. The staff are like family and have a great sense of humor and have a lot of fun while pursuing their career path. Staff members are encouraged to fully utilize their skills and knowledge and grow their abilities with the rest of us. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients with their pets, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records using Pulse.
- Provide information on veterinary services and pet care to clients.
- Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during visits.
- Process payments and manage medical collections as needed.
- Support veterinary staff with basic animal care and restraint during examinations.
- Help restrain pets for doctors/technicians
- Draw up vaccines
- Set up lab specimens
- Assist in exam rooms if needed
- Help maintain clinic cleanliness
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
